I recently stayed at a hotel in the heart of the city's main shopping street, and I have to say, it was excellent value for money. The staff were friendly and the basic amenities provided were just what I needed. Plus, the location couldn't have been better with bus stops conveniently close by.

Great location in the heart of the city with easy access to shrines, temples, restaurants, and bars. Surrounded by shops and close to the Kamogawa River and Gion area. Convenient bus stops nearby. Room was larger than expected for two people.

I had a fantastic time staying at Unizo Inn Kyoto. The central location was perfect for exploring the city. The room was clean and comfortable, providing a peaceful retreat after a long day of sightseeing. The nearby shopping district was a bonus, offering plenty of options for dining and entertainment. The overall value for money was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable stay in Kyoto.

Stayed here for Easter and had a wonderful time! The hotel had a laundry room which really saved us after an egg dyeing session with the kids. We also loved the fact that the hotel was right around the corner from all the main shopping areas and restaurants. Plus, the entrance was so grand and luxurious!

That the hotel didn't allow food to be ordered in from outside, which was a bit of a bummer. However, we did find some excellent restaurants nearby that made up for it.
