The onsen at Kusatsu Onsen Hotel Village was a delight. The clear water and tranquil atmosphere made for a truly relaxing experience. The dinner buffet was also impressive, offering a wide variety of delicious dishes including snow crab legs and sushi. Despite a few drawbacks like the limited English-speaking staff and the need to take a shuttle bus to the cheaper accommodation, the hotel provided excellent value for money. I highly recommend this hotel for a satisfying stay.

The employees are helpful and polite. The log cabins are located 1km away from the main building, overlooking a river in the forest. Free taxi service and hourly shuttle buses are available. The cabins are spacious, equipped with a kitchen, jacuzzi bathtub, and heated floors. The balcony offers a spectacular view. The staff speaks limited English but makes an effort to communicate. The breakfast and dinner buffets are excellent, offering a wide variety of Japanese cuisine. a very nice stay.

We had a fantastic stay at this luxurious hotel nestled in the heart of a beautiful forest. The location was perfect, providing the tranquility and serenity we were looking for. The shuttle service was a great convenience, taking us to various destinations with ease. The staff were exceptional, always friendly and willing to assist with any requests. The housekeeping service was top-notch, ensuring our room was tidy and comfortable at all times. We were also impressed with the wide range of amenities offered, including a welcome drink upon arrival and a variety of activities such as billiards, hiking, and cycling.

It is conveniently close to Kusatsu city center and the bus terminal, making it easy to explore the area. Guests can enjoy spacious rooms with both tatami and western-style options, as well as large glass windows that provide a nice view. The onsen is a relaxing experience, and the staff is friendly and responsive to requests.

Some areas of the hotel show signs of aging, such as dated decorations and furniture.

We had a wonderful stay at the Kusatsu Onsen Hotel Village. The individual wooden cottage we stayed in was cozy and spacious, perfect for our family of four. The cottage was well-equipped and maintained, with floor heating and all the necessary amenities. The highlight of our stay was the great onsen, especially enjoyable in the snowy weather. The breakfast provided was delicious, and we even got to take home a tasty hotpot. The staff were accommodating and there was a convenient 24-hour pick-up service to transport us between the cottage and the main building.

Nothing that I didn't like.

The hotel offered an exceptional buffet with a variety of Japanese foods that were very tasty. the beds were also comfortable and of good size. One of the major advantages was the shuttle service, which was free and available round-the-clock, making it easy to move around.

The hotel was a bit far from town, and required at least a 15-20 minute walk. However, the shuttle buses were frequent and made up for the distance.
