I recently stayed at J-Hoppers and I was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. The location was incredibly convenient, just a short walk from the A-Dome/Peace Park and easy access to Miyajima. The tram system nearby made it easy to explore other areas of Hiroshima as well. The facilities were clean and in good condition, as it appeared to have been recently refurbished. The dorm rooms were comfortable, with a unique bunk/capsule hybrid design that offered more room and privacy. Sleeping on a futon on top of a tatami was a nice touch. The staff was also helpful in storing our luggage after check-out.

second time in hiroshima, stayed at j-hoppers again. amazing value for money with great location and japanese-style room. accessible by tram, right next to peace memorial park. nearby supermarket and convenience store. perfect for short and budget-friendly stay in hiroshima.

I had a fantastic stay at the guesthouse! The accommodation was top-notch with a comfortable futon and a clean room that had plenty of space for our luggage. The common areas were also great, with clean and organized bathrooms and a friendly reception clerk who provided us with helpful tips about the city. The location was perfect, being close to a streetcar station and within walking distance of the Peace Park. I highly recommend J-Hoppers Hiroshima Guesthouse for a lovely stay in the city.

The bathroom is well-maintained, ensuring a pleasant and refreshing experience. The staff is friendly and helpful, making sure guests feel welcome and taken care of.

The walls seem to be quite thin, which can result in noise traveling from neighboring rooms.

It's not only the best hostel in terms of price and quality in Hiroshima, but also compared to others in the same price range. the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and they spoke excellent English. the dormitory room was spacious and clean, and the beds were like huge capsules with lockers. the kitchen was also clean and well-equipped, and we were able to use it for free. the location was excellent, as it was very close to the A-bomb spot and the Dobashi street car station. we had a wonderful experience and would definitely choose this hostel again if we visit Hiroshima in the future.
