I recently stayed at a cheap and conveniently located hotel near Asakusa called Juyoh. The staff were extremely helpful and provided a nice selection of information, including Japanese phrases, maps, and event details. The shared showers were nice and the shampoo and conditioner provided were of good quality. The hotel is situated in a quiet area, away from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo, but still only a 10-minute walk from the metro station. There are shops and restaurants nearby, and the famous Senso-ji temple is within walking distance. The hotel also offers a lovely private bath and a well-equipped kitchen.

The shared showers were nice, with good shampoo and conditioner, and the toilets were clean. The facilities were impressive, especially considering the price we paid. We highly recommend renting the private onsen for an hour, it's well worth the 300 yen.

juyoh hotel was a pleasant surprise during our anniversary trip. unlike our previous stay in tokyo, everything was clean, the staff was helpful, and the cozy lounge and cafe added to the friendly vibe. the resources for tourists were a nice touch too. exceeded our expectations!

The facilities at this hotel were great, perfect for party people. The private bath on the top floor was the highlight of our stay. The private rooms were comfortable and had enough space for our big suitcases. The staff was lovely and helpful.

juyoh surpassed my previous tokyo stay! loved the local vibe, bigger room with comfy futon bed, free tea & coffee, and the friendly staff who speak english. kitchen was a bonus for cooking & socializing. early check-in helped after long bus ride. worth the money, will come back!

juyoh was a delightful surprise! even better than my last stay in tokyo. the private onsen was a steal at 300 yen - a must try! the room was basic but had everything i needed and the access to amenities like the showers and washers/dryers was convenient.
