I had an amazing traditional Japanese onsen experience at a ryokan. The staff at Matsuzakaya Honten were incredibly helpful and the place itself was beautiful. My room had a private open-air bath that was so tranquil. Upon arrival, I was treated to an enormous traditional dinner and the next morning, a delicious traditional breakfast. The whole experience was perfect and I felt very at peace during my stay.

We had an amazing city trip and our stay was fabulous. the location was perfect with easy access to all the tourist buses and attractions. the authentic Japanese atmosphere was simply amazing, taking us back to ancient times.

We had to climb a few steps to get to our room. there was no shower in the room, but it was available in a common area.

I had an absolutely amazing stay at this hotel! The location was breathtaking, nestled in a valley and very close to a bus stop. The restaurant and bar were great, and the special diet menus were a nice touch. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the back massage was fantastic! The garden area was beautiful, and the leisure/ TV room was a relaxing place to unwind. And of course, the hot spring bath and open-air bath were simply heavenly! The facilities all had great Wi-Fi, and the free parking and luggage storage were very convenient. The 24-hour reception was always helpful.
