Nothing it was perfect.

Located in the heart of Gion, this hotel is just a stone's throw away from Sanjo station and offers stunning views of the river. The rooms are clean and feature brand-new tatami, providing an authentic ryokan experience. The staff is consistently helpful and the breakfast is delicious, ensuring a pleasant stay.

There have been some complaints about the noise from the air conditioner in certain rooms, which can be bothersome at night.

We spent our Christmas break in a traditional Japanese hotel that offered an authentic cultural experience. The location was great, with easy access to public transport and shopping areas. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making our stay enjoyable. We especially loved the public bath and the breakfast, which provided a taste of Japanese cuisine.

Our room had a strong smell of sewage that made our stay uncomfortable. We reported it to the staff, but unfortunately, nothing was done to fix the problem.
