Located near a convenient train station, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with the added luxury of a private outdoor onsen. We had the most rejuvenating stay at a peaceful ryokan nestled in the mountains near Hakone. The small ryokan allowed for a quiet and serene atmosphere, making it easy to access the open air baths. The authentic experience was exactly what we needed to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, providing us with a great all-around experience. Our room had a breathtaking view of the river and the wooden indoor onsen added an extra touch of luxury. we loved everything about our stay and would highly recommend this ryokan for a relaxing getaway.

I spent my Christmas at a ryokan and it was a magical experience. the private onsen in the room was definitely a highlight. I loved being able to relax and enjoy the hot springs without worrying about crowds. the traditional Japanese breakfast was a delightful surprise. It was amazing to try new flavors and textures. the ryokan's location was also perfect since it was only a short walk away from the train station and close to many attractions.

The traditional dinner was not for everyone. While it was interesting to try new food, some dishes were challenging to eat.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The attention to detail was impeccable - from the beautiful and authentic decor to the friendly and helpful staff. The private outdoor bath with a river view was an absolute highlight. I also thoroughly enjoyed the delicious breakfast provided.
