I stayed four nights and the location was close to the train station. The kitchenette was useful for quick meals. I appreciated the chance to eat bentos with my family as we explored the area. One challenge was finding the entrance, as it was not easy to locate. Overall, I felt safe and comfortable during my time there.

Staying at Kario Sasazuka was a delightful surprise! Just steps from the station, we loved the spacious two-bedroom suite. The kitchenette allowed us to whip up quick meals, and we thoroughly enjoyed family dinners with bentos from nearby shops. The cleanliness and comfort truly stood out.

However, finding the entrance was a bit tricky at first, leading us to wander a bit. Also, the staff contact was primarily through CCTV, which felt a bit impersonal. A full-length mirror would have been a nice addition too!

The lounge area downstairs serves as a solid alternative to a lobby. it offers a decent space to unwind after a long day of exploring. The proximity to nearby train lines means you can easily access busier areas of the city for more vibrant nightlife.

Finding the place is a real headache. The entrance is tucked away in a narrow alley that lacks clear directions, making it a challenge for first-timers. Inside, the room setups feel more like unfurnished long-stay apartments than actual hotel accommodations—very basic and lacking any character or atmosphere. The amenities are sparse. no snacks or basic toiletries like toothpaste were complimentary, which seems off for the steep price of well over $400 Australian dollars per night. Additionally, the cumbersome online check-in process left a lot to be desired, especially when my phone died and I was left charging it in a tight spot while waiting to check in. Without a front desk that can help with any hiccups, it's tough to feel looked after here.
