I had a wonderful stay at a hotel in the mountains with a surprisingly spacious interior. the hotel offered both public and private onsen, which were available from the afternoon until the next morning. the dark wood interior and traditional decorations created a calming atmosphere. My room was large and comfortable with a beautiful view of trees and mountains. Hiking all day and then relaxing in the onsen was perfect. the meals included delicious Japanese-style dishes, and the staff provided excellent service. the hotel is ideal for a quiet couple or solo traveler.
