My recent short stay at this charming hotel in Arashiyama was simply delightful. From the thoughtful birthday gift to the spacious rooms and fantastic kaiseki dinner experience, every detail was well taken care of. the warm and friendly staff were attentive, offering candies to combat heatstroke and providing helpful reminders for outings. Additionally, the convenient location right by the metro station made exploring the area a breeze. the authentic ryokan style combined with impeccable service truly made my stay memorable. Totally recommend this hotel.

Conveniently located next to Hankyu Arashiyama station and 5 minutes from the main shopping street. Onsen with a variety of body products and scrubs. Cozy and stylish rooms. Well-connected to public transport and JR. Great breakfast spread, free late-night ramen, and daily treats at reception.

Stayed here for Xmas. Conveniently located next to a train station. Free ice lollies all day and free ramen late at night. Variety of Onsen to choose from was great.

Poor customer service. the quality of food was not great and definitely not worth the price.

This hotel offers a luxurious experience with private onsen options that come for free. Breakfast has a good variety of Japanese and western options. The yukata is also provided with a choice. The location of this venue is perfect with major attractions within easy reach as it is right opposite the train station.

The room is on the smaller side, even with a private onsen. Furthermore, the hotel was understaffed during our visit which led to a stressed dining experience, where the staff was rushing to serve, and clear plates in a short amount of time.

I had a great ryokan hotel experience at Kadensho, Arashiyama Onsen. The traditional ryokan stay with modern facilities was fantastic. The private baths were relaxing, and the yukata provided added to the authentic experience. The location, right opposite Arashiyama Hankyu station, made exploring the area easy. I highly recommend this hotel.
