The Japanese style inn we stayed in during our city break was cozy, clean, and well-maintained. the staff was friendly and hospitable, offering us coffee and tea in our room every morning. Despite it being located in a quiet area, it was close enough to the city center, making it easy for us to explore the nearby tourist attractions. We appreciated that they offered a wooden bathtub in the common shower area, which added to the traditional Japanese feel.

The bathroom and shower amenities left much to be desired, with only one shower and limited bathroom facilities for the number of guests staying in the inn. there wasn't any communal area for guests to rest or relax, and our room wasn't soundproofed, making it quite noisy at times.

The location of the hotel is ideal as it is close to a train station and the main area of the city. it is situated in a quiet area just by the Nijo castle, making it a peaceful and serene environment. the rooms are well-maintained and clean, offering a comfortable stay for guests. The bathroom facilities are modern and convenient, ensuring a pleasant experience. The staff provides excellent service, with knowledgeable and helpful personnel. The breakfast options are delicious and varied, catering to different tastes. Lastly, some rooms offer stunning views of the surrounding area, adding an extra touch of beauty to the stay.

Some guests have mentioned a minor issue with the signage of the building, which can be confusing for first-time visitors.
