The location was fantastic, right at the bustling Tanukikoji shopping street, with plenty of eateries nearby. The cafe and reading space were perfect for working, making my stay enjoyable and productive.

The temperature in the room could be a bit too warm at times.

My experience was marred by the check-in policy. Arriving early at 2pm with my family, including elderly parents and a child, we were told to leave the reception seating while waiting. Instead of resting in the lobby, we had to wait outside in the cold until check-in time at 3pm—a completely unreasonable expectation. There should be a clear distinction between the cafe area and the waiting area for guests.

The staff was lovely! always greet you with a smile, made us feel at home. The little cafe was packed with locals studying, we loved how lively it felt! And our room had tons of outlets, which was great for charging, had no issues fitting our bags.

I found a great way to navigate to the hotel after arriving, walking through a nearby shopping arcade to avoid carrying luggage over icy sidewalks. The laundry facility was useful for my long trip. Each room had a flat-screen TV and an electric kettle, which added comfort. Breakfast was a simple but nice start to each day with a salad and soup.
