We had a wonderful stay at a spacious and great value hotel in the heart of Gion. The room was surprisingly roomy for Japan, with a queen bed and pull-out sofa that accommodated our group comfortably. The hotel was beautifully decorated, impeccably clean, and had a restaurant attached. Despite the small toilet room, the overall experience was fantastic. The location was super central, making it easy to explore Gion and conveniently access transportation. I highly recommend this hotel for its value, cleanliness, and central location.

This hotel in the center of the Gion district is an absolute gem. The location is perfect, with numerous restaurants and tourist attractions within walking distance. The rooms may be small, but they are thoughtfully designed to make the most of the space, with a small table and chairs, fridge, and electric kettle for tea. The staff is friendly and speaks good English, making communication a breeze. The basic amenities are all there, including decent air conditioning for those hot summer months. And if you're in the mood for a drink, there's even a bar attached to the hotel. Plus, with three beds in the room, it's perfect for a small group or family.

My stay at the inn was excellent. The room was spacious for two people and even had a makeshift bed using the sofa. The bathroom, although a bit small for larger sizes, was clean and had a bathtub. I was impressed by the friendly staff who spoke English, making our stay very convenient. The location in the middle of Gion was perfect, with easy access to various transportation options and many restaurants. The hotel also had a lift, which was helpful for our heavy luggage. Stayed at a great hotel in the heart of Gion district. the room was clean and comfortable with a nice twin setup. the location was fantastic, near the river, geisha district, shops, and metro station. the staff was friendly and helpful, and I appreciated the option to do laundry on-site. a great value for money and a convenient base for exploring Kyoto.

The location of this hotel is unbeatable, with most tourist attractions within walking distance and only needing public transportation a couple of times during my four day stay. The room was well-sized and had convenient amenities such as a small table with chairs, fridge, and electric kettle. The bathroom and toilet were separated, making it convenient for traveling companions. The hotel staff spoke good English and were accommodating, even holding luggage after check-out.

The potential for noise from the nearby bars and clubs, which could be heard even from the fourth floor rooms.

The rooms were a bit cramped and lacked storage space, particularly when accommodating a family. the layout could have been better optimized to create a more comfortable and functional living space, without sacrificing style.

The location of the hotel was ideal, being in the heart of Gion, a beautiful and historic district. It was just a short walk to the subway station and within walking distance of major temples, gardens, and shops. the rooms were clean and comfortable, offering great value for money.

The thin walls made it difficult to have a peaceful night's sleep, as we could hear other guests moving around and running water.

Perfect location for being in the center of the action in Gion. Easy walking distance to everything - able to rest in the day and go out again without public transport. Also a short walk to all the main shops both sides of the river. Great value for money. Requested 3 rooms together - wasn't a problem. Great communication from management. Will recommend to everyone!
