The room was like a little apartment: comfortable, well-equipped, and spacious. Great location in the Gion area. Comfy beds with the option of futons. Helpful reception staff. Strategic location near shops for kimono rental and Kiyo-Mizudera.

We had a fantastic stay in a homely little apartment in the heart of the Gion area. The room was comfortable with a microwave and a washing-drying combination. The location was great, close to the main Gion area and within walking distance to temples and interesting sites. The beds were cozy and the futon beds were a nice touch. The friendly staff made our stay even more enjoyable.

The hotel was a little noisy due to the lack of double glazing in the front rooms.

Had a wonderful new year stay at this cozy inn situated in a charming and peaceful neighborhood. the rooms were spacious and spotless, with a washer/dryer included. the hotel mixed modern design with traditional Japanese elements that lent a unique feel. It's located in a key spot that's just minutes away from the city's main attractions, making it a perfect base to explore the city from.

Although check-in and check-out were self-service, this was not a problem as there were staff members available during certain parts of the day. However, it would have been better if there was a 24-hour front desk for quick assistance.
