The hotel is conveniently located, just a short walk from a major station of Kaihan Line, making it easy to explore the city. Getting to the train station by cab is also quick and hassle-free. The staff are friendly and fluent in English, ensuring smooth communication throughout our stay. The room was well-appointed, complete with a complimentary minibar and comfortable amenities. The breakfast offered a superb spread of delicious options, while the lounges provided complimentary drinks and snacks, including a self-host whiskey bar.

The window coverings could have provided better light-blocking capabilities.

I loved the eclectic decor of the hotel, which was designed by a famous interior designer. The library was a fascinating nod to the building's history as the original factory for Nintendo. The complimentary minibar in the room and the free drinks at the lounge were a delightful touch. The light supper was decent, and the breakfast was absolutely superb. The location was fantastic, just a 5-minute walk to the subway station. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and even arranged a special lunch for us. Close to a major station, making it convenient for exploring Kyoto. The free alcohol and snacks at the lounges were satisfying. Staff were fluent in English and allowed us to drop our luggage early. I highly recommend this hotel.

Bed was a bit firm and lumpy, and window coverings offered little privacy. Some meals had narrow window of availability, and we missed out on later supper.

Upon entering the hotel, we were amazed by the chic and luxurious decor and the library that gave us a clue of the hotel's history - former Nintendo factory. Our stay here was made even more exclusive with the abundance of complimentary amenities, including drinks, snacks, minibar, and a self-host whiskey bar. We appreciated the attentive staff, especially for accommodating our early luggage drop-off and arranging a delicious kaiseki lunch.

The only minor issue we encountered was the firm and lumpy bed, which was not to our liking. Additionally, the window coverings did not block out the light entirely, though they provided us privacy in the evening.
