Breathtaking area, helpful staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds, great bath, huge spacious rooms.

The public bath was a great upside. The hotel provided Yukatas so we felt comfortable wearing them around the hotel and going to the Onsen. The restaurant just beside the hotel was excellent. The staff were very helpful and friendly, despite the language barrier. They went out of their way to provide us with a map and the wait staff explained our meals. The food was delicious and delicately prepared. The rooms were spacious and pleasant, and the traditional dinner and breakfast included in the stay were great. The hot tub was clean and relaxing. The hotel's location was perfect, close to attractions and a supermarket. The transfer between the station and the hotel was convenient.

Tranquil stay with great mountain view. Near Tozan Train Gora Station but located in a steep slope, best to ride Cable Car to Koen Shimo Station. Family Room is spacious, free Yukata and all-day coffee/tea. Generous toiletries and impressive Onsen. Convenience store nearby.

The attention to detail and basic amenities provided ensure a comfortable stay. Additionally, the inclusive breakfast offers a wide selection of delicious Japanese dishes.

During my recent stay at Merveille Hakone Gora, I was impressed by the stunning views from the hotel. The location on a hill provided a unique vantage point to appreciate the beautiful surroundings. Although the uphill climb was a bit challenging, the effort was definitely worth it. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. I particularly enjoyed the unlimited free beverages in the lobby, which included coffee, hot chocolate, soft drinks, and green tea. The traditional Japanese breakfast and dinner that came with the room package were delicious and ensured that I never went hungry. The onsen was a highlight of the stay, with the large gender-separated bath and an outdoor Jacuzzi. The room may have been a little small for five people, but it had a bathtub and a sofa bed, providing extra comfort. The hotel also offered a free shuttle service to Gora station upon checkout, which was very convenient for those with heavy luggage. I had a marvelous experience at Merveille Hakone Gora and would highly recommend it for a memorable stay.
