Excellent Italian restaurant on site, fast and affordable food nearby, comfortable, clean and stylishly decorated rooms, accommodating staff who speak English, easy check-in and check-out system.

It was our second stay at Mitsui Garden Hotel Gotanda and it was the longest stay we've had in Japan. the hotel staff provided wonderful service and everything was perfect. We were thrilled that our request for a room overlooking the Meguro-gawa was granted even before we arrived. the sento on the 16th floor was clean, spacious, and a great place to relax in the hot waters. the hotel's location near Gotanda Station was very convenient, with a large Tokyu supermarket nearby and plenty of options for eating and shopping. the staff were super friendly and accommodating, allowing us to store our bags for free before check-in and after check-out. the rooms were clean and had everything we needed, and having a Lawson downstairs was a plus. the bathroom had well-designed shelving for our toiletries and the layout of the room provided ample space. We were particularly grateful for the lounge chair and side table, perfect for relaxing and enjoying a meal in the room.

Convenient location near train stations and amenities. Helpful and friendly staff who handled luggage and called cabs. Well-decorated reception area with relaxing terrace. Comfortable rooms with nice bathrooms. Great onsen facility and late opening hours.

We had a wonderful stay at the Mitsui Garden Hotel. the location is excellent, right next to the JR/MTR station with plenty of nearby shops and restaurants. the bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, a rare find in Japan. the room and bathroom were spacious, and we also enjoyed the free onsen. the hotel's proximity to the subway and JR, as well as the convenient store connected to it, made our stay even more convenient. Checking out was hassle-free and the staff was very helpful throughout our stay. Not to mention, the reception area on the 15th floor offered stunning views of Tokyo.

The location of this hotel can't be beat! It's situated in a bustling business district with easy access to the metro station, making it the perfect spot for exploring Tokyo. The rooms are spacious, and it was nice to have a bath in the bathroom for a little R&R after a long day of sightseeing. The views of the Gotanda area are also amazing!

I loved staying here! The location is perfect; it's close to public transportation and shops. The hotel room was always neat and clean, and the staff was incredibly helpful. They even let me store my bags before check-in and after check-out. The amenities in the room were outstanding - there was a small terrace and an in-room safe. As bike riders, we loved the convenient location of Mitsui Garden Hotel Gotanda. It was easy walking distance to Gotanda Station, making it a breeze to connect to the entire city and beyond. The 15th-floor reception/lobby area provided a relaxing space to unwind and enjoy the stunning view of the city. We also enjoyed spending time at the charming roof covered outdoor terrace/sitting area adjacent to the lobby. The staff was incredibly helpful, and we appreciated the fact that we didn't need electrical converters for our North American devices. The nearby 7 Eleven was a lifesaver for getting food, snacks, and cash from the ATM, as Japan is more cash-based than expected. Plus, there were restaurants everywhere, ensuring we never went hungry. To top it off, the room was spacious, clean, and had a great view. Mitsui Garden Hotel Gotanda provided everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

We had the most amazing stay at a hotel nestled next to a beautiful canal. The location couldn't have been better, with two train stations within a short distance. The room was spacious and perfect for our family with two young kids. The helpful staff went above and beyond, even assisting us when we had a bag left on a train. The breakfast offered a great variety, and the view from the top-floor balcony was stunning. The facilities, including the clean and modern bathroom, were a great advantage.

Although the hotel was fantastic in many aspects, the sound insulation could have been better to prevent noise from the train traffic.

Despite the small room size, it was still manageable for my stay. The location near Gotanda station on the Yamanote line was perfect for visiting popular areas and tourist spots. The superior room was worth the upgrade, offering more space than other Tokyo hotels. The soundproofing was excellent, providing a peaceful night's sleep. Additionally, the 15th-floor reception offered stunning views. The area surrounding the hotel had plenty of great restaurants to choose from.

The breakfast buffet has a good variety of Western and Japanese food. The rooms are clean and relatively spacious with comfortable beds. The public bath on the top floor offers a nice break and a view of the surroundings from the outdoor bath.

I loved the convenience of the hotel's location, just a few minutes' walk from Gotanda station and a short train ride away from Shibuya and other major areas. The sento on the 16th floor was a highlight, offering a relaxing soak after a long day of exploring. I would recommend this hotel for its great value, cleanliness, and location.

The city break was decent, the bed was clean, and the bathroom was tidy. the location was convenient with the train station just a few minutes away and lots of food options around. We also got some nice complementary treats during our stay which was a nice touch. Plus, the onsen was a great way to relax after a long day of exploring.

We arrived early and asked for an early check-in, but were told we'd have to pay extra. There were also some weird rules that didn't make sense, like not being allowed to check in a few minutes early even though the hotel was not busy.
