We had an amazing time at the hostel downstairs, thanks to Michael and his young spirit. Despite his initial grumpiness, he loosened up and had us laughing all evening. the food was also really good. the bar was much more comfortable and roomy than we expected from the pictures. the top bunk beds had ladders that were the best we've ever used, easy and safe. the entire place, including the rooms, common areas, pathways, and bathrooms. the staff, Chandré and Sierra, were very helpful and consistent with our inquiries, even arranging a taxi for us.

Mt Fuji Hostel Michael's was much better than I expected. the rooms were way more spacious and comfortable than what I had seen online. the ladders leading to the top bunk beds were the best I've ever used, making it easier and safer to climb up. the cleanliness of the entire hostel, including the rooms, common areas, pathways, and bathrooms, was impeccable. I also appreciated the convenience of their laundry facility. the staff, particularly Chandré and Sierra, were extremely helpful and responsive to all my pre-arrival inquiries. They even went above and beyond to arrange a taxi for us on the day of a marathon.

I had a fantastic stay at this hostel! The cleanliness was top-notch, and everything felt fresh and well-maintained. The hotel facilities were excellent, with plenty of information available about bus routes, climbing Mt. Fuji, and the weather. The staff were incredibly organized and helpful, always ensuring that I had hot water for tea and coffee. The location was perfect, just a short 10-minute walk from the station and the departure point for the buses to the 5th Station. I also really appreciated the friendly and knowledgeable receptionists and hostel staff who went above and beyond to make sure I had a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

We had a great stay at the hostel. The location was excellent, being close to the train station and allowing easy access to Lake Kawaguchiko within 10 minutes or a leisurely bike ride of 30 minutes. We were also able to walk to Chureito Pagoda and enjoy breathtaking views of Mount Fuji during sunrise and sunset. Additionally, there were numerous nice restaurants in the vicinity, making it convenient to find a good meal. The cleanliness of the showers and toilets was also impressive. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, providing us with valuable information about the area and even assisting us in checking the latest weather updates for Mount Fuji. They were fluent in English, which was greatly appreciated. Moreover, we were pleasantly surprised that the hostel provided climbing equipment free of charge, which was very helpful to us.
