We had a very enjoyable stay at a charming ryokan in Nozawaonsen. The location was slightly off the main road, providing a peaceful atmosphere. The hosts were always eager to help and the breakfasts were delicious. We loved having an onsen on site and the option to store our skis slope side. a truly authentic Japanese experience.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, just like Yukiko, who provided clear answers to all my queries before my arrival. The hotel itself was charming, and I loved the fact that it has a private onsen. The meals served were delicious, with multiple courses of authentic Japanese cuisine. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and I was glad to have a private toilet. It was a great value for money, considering its age and the overall experience.

The location of the hotel is great, as it is close to everything we needed in the town. It is quite close to the main street where you can find good food and coffee shops. it is conveniently located near the ski area, making it easy to access for skiing enthusiasts. The rooms are lovely, clean, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable stay. The staff are friendly and helpful, offering great service throughout our stay. The traditional Japanese breakfast provided was delicious and substantial.

Sleeping on futons on the floor for some guests might be a bit challenging for a longer stay.

The inn's location was convenient for exploring the city, and the staff were friendly and helpful. the breakfast was tasty and had a nice variety of dishes to choose from. It was also interesting to experience sleeping on traditional futons.

The shared bathroom was quite small and not very clean. the futons were uncomfortable, especially for taller guests who didn't fit properly.
