I had an exceptional stay at the hotel. the cleanliness was impeccable, the hotel facilities were top-notch, and the hotel staff was incredibly helpful. the location was convenient, close to temples, and offered a tranquil atmosphere.

Our stay at this traditional ryokan was for relaxation and exploration, lasting four nights. the picturesque snowfall in the courtyard garden outside our room set a serene ambiance. the newly renovated facilities, particularly the bathroom, added modern comfort to the traditional quarters. Memorable dining experiences in front of the beautiful garden were a highlight, with exceptional service exceeding all expectations.

Nanzenji Sando Kikusui offers exceptional service with comfortable rooms overlooking a beautiful Japanese garden. the traditional Japanese meals are lovely, and the ambiance while dining is delightful. It remains warm even in winter.

Dinner cancellations incur extra charges. Limited English communication.

The scenery was breathtaking with a beautiful garden. We were impressed with the traditional Japanese style of our rooms and the excellent service. the location was perfect for leisurely walks in the surrounding area with charming streets and shops.

Some of the amenities were not up to par, such as the poorly maintained bathroom with a damp smell. the food was also disappointing despite the high price tag and rushed service.
