i almost considered giving a good review, but between the unfriendly staff and the absolutely ridiculous no visitors policy, i just couldn’t. woudl ve been nice to have a room upgrade for my troubles, but who am i kidding, right? overall, a letdown. clean, yes, but not worth the hassle. no thanks, Ueno New Izu.

Consider using the laundry facilities after hours for quieter usage and minimal wait time, as they can get busy during the day.

Bathroom had a slight chlorine smell!!! No drinking water provided in the room, and it's awkward having to refill your bottles at the lobby!!! Also, the key return policy feels unnecessarily strict!!!

Easy to locate just a short walk from Ueno Station. The room size is a pleasant surprise, allowing ample space to unpack. Staff are incredibly helpful, providing essentials without hesitation. The sweet touch of daily room cleaning and provided toiletries makes for a comfortable stay. A refrigerator is a handy addition for snacks.

This place was right near Ueno station, proper easy to find. The room was cozy with a nice clean yukata every day. Just wished the bathroom was a bit posher, but for the price, can't complain too much. Deffo worth a gander, mate!
