the staff at Park Lodge Mountain Side were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. the dorm bed was cosy and comfortable, perfect for a good night's sleep. the surroundings were lush and green, with streams and rivers adding to the peaceful atmosphere. the common area was cute and provided complimentary water, tea, and coffee.

We stayed at Park Lodge Mountain Side in Nikko and had a fantastic experience. the views of the mountains were absolutely breathtaking, especially during the snowfall in January. the dining lobby was spacious and the food was delicious. the staff were incredibly helpful, accommodating our special request for a late check-out. the room was comfortable and had all the necessary amenities. the hotel is also pet-friendly, and we fell in love with their adorable dog, Gura. the surrounding area felt safe and it was worth taking a stroll to appreciate the beautiful surroundings.

Nothing that I didn't like 😊.

Situated away from the bustling town, it offers a serene and quiet atmosphere. the staff are friendly and accommodating, providing excellent service. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, providing a cozy environment to relax in. Guests also have access to a variety of facilities, including a fireplace and complimentary tea, adding to the overall warmth and comfort of the lodge.

It should be noted that for those with physical handicaps, the lodge might not be the most accessible option.

The walk into town to catch the bus for hiking was no biggie, just 20 minutes. The staff hooked us up with a ride from Tobu station, so we didn't have to haul our stuff. And dude, there were money offerings for good luck! Pretty rad.

If you're looking for a wild party scene, this ain't it. It's more of a chill spot for relaxed vibes.

The staff was incredibly accommodating, allowing me to check in early and providing delicious meals. The location was convenient, with easy access to walking trails and an onsen nearby. This hotel is a great choice for those who love nature and walking. It is located on a mountainside, close to town, temples, and hiking trails. The rooms are spacious and the beds provide plenty of space to put your belongings. The showers are nice and big, ensuring a comfortable experience. The staff is very friendly and the owner is incredibly helpful. there is a heated blanket in the room to keep you warm during winter nights.

The menu options for dinner are limited and the food is not great.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was superb, nestled against a hillside with a beautiful setting. We enjoyed the free shuttle service to and from downtown, making it convenient to explore the city. Additionally, the Toshogu shrine complex was just a short walk away, offering a picturesque stroll. The staff at this hotel were friendly, easygoing, and incredibly helpful, with excellent English language skills. Our room was comfortable and well-maintained, receiving daily service. The communal areas were cozy and inviting, offering a warm atmosphere to relax and hang out. We also appreciated the meals served in the common area, which were filling and a great value. the cleanliness, hotel facilities, parking, transportation, location, breakfast.

It was all superb.

The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home, giving the property a warm and inviting atmosphere. The Halloween decorations added a fun touch to our stay. Despite being a bit of a walk from the station, the surrounding area was absolutely stunning and worth exploring. We stumbled upon a highly rated sushi place in Nikko that blew our minds with its delicious food. Truly a memorable experience!
