I loved how close this place was to the train station and all the convenient stores around the area. The onsen was amazing too, they had multiple hot baths, both indoors and outdoors, and the staff was really helpful in explaining the etiquette. The room was also comfortable and they even had free bicycle hire.

The hotel was larger than expected and had a nice traditional feel with tatami floors. the onsen was brilliant and a great way to relax after a long day. Also, there were plenty of food options around the hotel.

The room was smaller than expected and there was not enough space for our luggage. the bed was also quite small, which was uncomfortable for my tall husband.

This hotel offers a perfect blend of Japanese traditional and modern practicality. The spacious rooms with tatami floors and western-style beds make for an exceptional stay. Guests love the peaceful ambiance and the Onsen baths which are exceptionally nice. The hotel is conveniently located near railway stations, a fun shopping, and restaurant district. Guests can take advantage of the low-cost washers and dryers and enjoy the extensive Japanese buffet breakfast.

One aspect that needs improvement is their Onsen PJ's. A few guests find them "daggy" and "not in keeping with the amazing traditional Japanese space.

Had a wonderful Christmas stay at a hotel near the JR station and walking distance to Nara Park. the onsen was amazing, with indoor and outdoor baths, sauna, and a cold bath. the buffet breakfast had a great selection of both Japanese and Western dishes. Loved lounging around the hotel in the provided pjs!

Only downside was the lack of space for large suitcases in the room. But we managed to make it work.
