cozy ski lodge feel, perfect location near gondola and town. comfortable rooms, amazing breakfast, helpful staff. is a perfect base for a skiing holiday. exceeded my expectations, felt like a perfect retreat for our honeymoon.

inconsistent cleaning, sometimes lacked toilet paper.

Just got back from an amazing stay on the hill. LOVED the cozy rooms with fireplaces. Breakfast was included, although the quality was abysmal. Would definitely stay here again! the photos don't do it justice.

The entertainment facilities were on point, especially the table tennis table. Near the main ski slopes, we shredded fresh pow every day. the vibes were super chill, and the private onsen was clutch after hitting the slopes.

More nighttime activities for party animals like us would've been epic!

The staff were jaw-droppingly nice and friendly, the breakfast was mind-blowingly delicious, and the spacious room was SUPER cozy. the onsen and entertainment facilities were just icing on the cake!

Great breakfast selection, cozy atmosphere, private onsen, helpful staff, piano and table tennis. Perfect for trekkers and group of friends. Cons: Felt completely happy, nothing too much trouble.

During our stay, we appreciated the convenient location near the ski slopes and bus terminal. the room was cozy, with traditional Japanese elements and comfortable futons. the staff, especially Henry, were always helpful. the shared bath facilities were clean, and we also enjoyed the nearby mineral water onsen. the communal areas allowed for relaxation and socializing with other guests. a pleasant retreat after a day of skiing.

Aspect: Disappointingly, the breakfast buffet had limited options.

After spending a day on the slopes, I relaxed in the communal hot spring baths, feeling like a dumpling in a pot! the small rooms made me feel like a pro Tetris player with my luggage, but the cozy futons made up for it. the staff were a mix of Mary Poppins and Sherlock Holmes—collecting me from the airport during a snowstorm and unraveling mysteries of the missing toilet paper. Breakfast was like a buffet roulette, but overall, a good deal for the price. Cheers from a Soymilk-fond Chinese! .

The location was awesome, close to town and the gondola, with stunning views.

The shower room was freezing, no hot water when the Onsen pool was empty. the hotel smelled of petrol once, and the breakfast buffet was sad.

Staff gave me directions on my first stay. Perfect spot with Wi-Fi, lockers, laundry, TV. Great for skiing, plus no pets or smoking. Weekend getaway, always satisfied.

I recently stayed at Toemu Nozawa in Japan for a few nights and had a fantastic experience. Despite some language barriers, the staff went above and beyond to provide helpful information. The owner even returned the money for a missed breakfast and gave us some fruits as a gesture of goodwill. The location is also convenient, just a short walk from the bus stop. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with traditional tatami mats, giving a truly authentic Japanese feel. a warm and friendly place to stay with great hosts.

Would definitely recommend this hotel.
