I had a great stay at this hotel in Kyoto. the room was much bigger than I expected, it felt like having an apartment. There was even a small kitchen with all the cooking facilities I needed. Secondly, the staff were very friendly and could speak English, which made communication easy. And finally, the location was perfect, situated in a residential area away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

No issues at all, everything was just fine.

The room was a fantastic surprise, it was way better and bigger than what we were expecting. Having a kitchen was a huge advantage since we were looking for a budget option for our Easter holidays. the location was also good, there was a bus stop nearby and it was just a short ride to get to the tourist spots. Being close to a grocery store was very practical as well.

It was freezing all night, and no matter how high we turned the air conditioner, it just wouldn't get warmer. the shower was also a problem, we could feel the cold air flowing all around the room and that made it really uncomfortable.
