The room was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location was great – within walking distance of a lot of good restaurants and shopping. Plus, there are some great tourist attractions nearby that are easily accessible. The complimentary breakfast was quite tasty and provided some much-needed fuel for a day of sightseeing.

The noise level was unbearable. We could hear everything going on around us – from people walking down the hallway to traffic outside.

We had an amazing stay at this place! The location was absolutely perfect, with a small river right next to it. We spent some relaxing time watching a heron hunting fish in the river, something we never expected in the middle of a city. The hotel is also conveniently located, with the shopping street, food street, and department store just a 5-minute walk away. It was incredibly convenient to get to the JR station and the pier for the ferry to Naoshima in just 5 minutes by taxi.

We were pleasantly surprised by our spacious room at Rihga Hotel Zest. The extra size allowed for a comfortable stay, and the en-suite bathroom was of great quality. The highlight of our stay was the delicious breakfast with various regional options. The two ladies in the breakfast room added a cheerful atmosphere with their banter and good humor. The hotel's location was also excellent, just a minute away from the arcades and with easy access to Ritsurin Gardens, the ferry port, and the JR Station. we had a fantastic experience and would choose this hotel again when visiting Takamatsu.
