The hotel had a great location, with plenty of restaurants and shopping options nearby. It was also conveniently located close to a subway station, making it easy to get around the city. Additionally, the staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome during our stay.

There were a couple of things that weren't ideal. the room was on the small side, which made it feel a bit cramped.

Our stay included free drinks in the bar and access to a French pastry shop downstairs.

The elevators were slow and caused some inconvenience during our stay.

We had a fantastic stay in this city center hotel, close to all the wonderful sights Kyoto has to offer. The location is perfect, just a short walk to Sanjo train station and within easy reach of Gion, Higashiyama, and Yasaka temple. The hotel facilities were great, with clean and comfortable rooms. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, lending us umbrellas on rainy days. We also appreciated the convenient transportation options, with two subway stations nearby. this hotel provided a convenient and enjoyable base for exploring the city.

We had a splendid stay at Royal Park Hotel Kyoto Sanjo. the location was excellent, with major department stores and Gion just a short walk away. There were plenty of restaurants and bars in the area, and the public transport was convenient. the staff went out of their way to assist us and the facilities, including the coffee shop and gourmet supermarket next door, were exceptional. the room was comfortable and equipped with everything we needed, including a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. a highly recommended hotel, especially for families with kids.

Great base for exploring Kyoto! the hotel was conveniently located near public transportation and within walking distance of many attractions. the rooms were comfortable and quiet, providing a good night's sleep. the hotel staff were friendly and professional, always willing to help with directions and provide assistance. Additionally, the hotel offered amenities such as toiletries and complimentary water, which were replenished daily.

The WiFi in the hotel was too slow to be usable, which was a disappointment. It would have been more convenient to have faster internet access in order to stay connected and make travel arrangements.

The Royal Park Hotel Kyoto Sanjo offers a fantastic location near the Kano river with shopping, nightlife, and plenty of nice eating places. It is also conveniently close to the Sanjo station and not far from the Gion station. The hotel has a high-end decor and clean rooms with great fixtures. The staff is friendly, English-speaking, and always ready to help.

Great stay - brilliant value for money. The hotel is in a great location, easily accessible by subway and on the bus route to major sights. Lots of great places to eat in the area, and the bakery next door is perfect for breakfast. The rooms are comfortable, with a great bathroom. The staff is really helpful and provided excellent advice on getting around. They even booked our shuttle to the airport, which was worth the small extra cost for added comfort.
