The location was perfect, within easy walking distance to major sites, the famous Hida Beef restaurant, and the main shopping street. The room was spacious and comfortable, decorated with traditional Japanese elements. The staff was friendly and attentive, providing excellent service. The breakfast was a delightful experience, offering a variety of Japanese and continental options. I also enjoyed the uncrowded onsen, a relaxing treat after a long day of exploring.

The warm and cozy atmosphere in the wooden building was great. the staff provides a list of restaurants and helps in making reservations. Ladies have the chance to choose the pattern of yukata upon check-in. the staff is delightful, particularly the lady that checked us in. the breakfast was very delicious!

The size of the room containing the toilet facilities was too small and uncomfortable to use. There is no private onsen in the room to choose from, only a public onsen which is very small.
