Not very soundproof through the windows!!! Directions and rules often only in Japanese, requiring heavy reliance on translation apps!!! Requests for English translations would enhance the experience for non-Japanese speakers!!!

The location's just perfect! It’s in a quieter area, but still close to the cool stuff in town. The public bath was super clean and felt like we had it all to ourselves most times!

It's great for families and perfect for exploring the area.

I absolutely loved how easy it was to explore the nearby nishiki market and kyoto international manga museum, making my weekend city strolls so enjoyable. plus, the staff went above and beyond when they lent me an umbrella and helped dry my shoes after i got caught in the rain.

Charming ryokan, delightful breakfast, with free wi-fi in rooms and 24-hour security, ensuring a comfortable and secure stay. I particularly enjoyed the heated bathroom floors and the convenient location, only 39 km from the nearest airport.

the walls were a bit thin, so some outside noise can be heard. but the staff was super helpful with local recommendations, and the room had a beautiful traditional design. the public bath was an excellent relaxing spot, too.

It was an excellent fit for a trip in Kyoto with fantastic value. The staff lent me a Yukata and helped me choose a colorful pattern that I loved. Bring a translation app to help with the language barrier.
