We had a wonderful romantic escape at this ryokan! The traditional Japanese-style room was charming and cozy. We loved the delicious traditional dinner and breakfast that was included in our stay. The onsen was a relaxing treat after a long day of exploring the area. We also appreciated the free Wi-Fi and convenient shuttle service to nearby attractions.

Although the bedding was comfortable, the futons were a bit too firm for our liking. , the staff's English could have been better, which made communication a bit challenging at times.

During my recent stay in Yamanouchi, I had the pleasure of experiencing the warm and authentic hospitality offered at a traditional ryokan. The room at Senshinkan Matsuya was spacious and tastefully decorated, providing a true sense of Japanese charm. The highlight of my stay was the delightful interaction with the friendly owner, who went out of their way to make my visit unforgettable.

Although it should be noted that the property could benefit from some refurbishment, these minor imperfections did not detract from the overall charm and comfort of my stay.
