We were thrilled with the breathtaking view of the bay below from our room on top of a small mountain. The spacious room and comfortable bed made for a relaxing stay. The friendly staff, especially Takahashi-san, provided excellent service. We also enjoyed the convenience of being within walking distance of Shimoda's park and aquarium.

The breakfast buffet fell short of expectations and did not offer many vegetarian options, despite what we were told.

I stayed at this hotel for the weekend and had a truly enjoyable experience. The location of this place is simply breathtaking, situated on a hill overlooking a stunning beach. The view from here is absolutely mesmerizing. The staff at this venue are incredibly friendly and accommodating. They went out of their way to ensure that all my needs were met. The service here lived up to the renowned Japanese customer service standards. The room was clean and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities provided. I particularly loved the terrace, where I could relax and take in the beautiful surroundings. The on-site car park was also very convenient.

There were minimal facilities available at this hotel. There was no lounge or bar area, and no in-room dining service.

We recently had a fantastic stay at a hotel in Shimoda. Its location was perfect for us as a couple, as it was situated next to the seaside. We loved being able to easily access the nearby beach and enjoy the beautiful views of the sea and surrounding mountains. The room was exceptionally clean and spacious, with a lovely interior that made us feel comfortable and at home. The service provided by the staff was top-notch, making our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options to start our day off right. the experience was simply outstanding.

That the hotel was not close to any local restaurants, so we had to rely on the hotel's dining options for meals.

I had an absolutely incredible stay at this hotel with breathtaking views of the coast. The breakfast was delicious and the amenities were top-notch. The shuttle bus to and from the train station was a huge help in navigating the hill. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable stay.

Our city break was simply charming, offering dazzling sea views and shimmering pools. For the thrill-seekers, there were parasailing activities a few steps away from the hotel, while the calmer beach cove below offered an idyllic spot for peaceful sunbathing. the generous breakfast buffet and courteous staff made for a luxurious stay.

Our room was a bit stuffy and we had to ask for extra ventilation.

Loved the amazing view overlooking the bay and ocean. The onsen and pool were fantastic. Convenient shuttle service from the station.

We stayed for a few nights with our young son and had a fantastic time! The recently renovated rooms had a stunning ocean view, and the onsen was absolutely beautiful. We loved watching the sunrise from the indoor and outdoor baths, as well as the sauna. The breakfast was delicious and there was convenient, free transport from the train station. The hotel's location overlooking the ocean was perfect, with easy access to a beach and coastal walkways. The staff, despite limited English, were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to assist. Don't miss the Indian restaurant near the main station - it was simply awesome!
