We had a wonderful time staying in this cozy mountain hotel. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the stunning Kazurabashi bridge. We were impressed with the unique little house-shaped cable car that took us directly to the JR station. Our room was clean and bright, with comfortable beds and a spacious bathroom. The service was exceptional - the staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The breakfast offered a delicious variety of Japanese dishes, and we were blown away by the breathtaking view from the outdoor onsen.

The lobby and corridors were in need of renovation, which was a small disappointment.

This hotel in the beautiful Iya valley on Shikoku exceeded my expectations in several ways. the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, going out of their way to ensure that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. They even provided sight-seeing tips and arranged a night tour for us. Additionally, the room we were upgraded to was spacious and well-furnished, with modern amenities and a separate sitting area. But the highlight of our stay was definitely the open-air onsen. Despite the misty and drizzling weather, the onsen offered breathtaking views of the surrounding scenery and the peaceful ambience was truly refreshing. Moreover, the dining experience was top-notch. The attentive waitresses explained every dish to us and the food, with its adorable traditional presentation, showcased the local taste using fresh and local Iya Valley ingredients. I definitely recommend this hotel to other travelers.

All aspects of our stay at this hotel were perfect.

Spent Christmas at a mountain hotel and had a great stay. the hotel team was well-prepared for foreign visitors and provided excellent service in English. We were impressed by the traditional tatami rooms that accommodated our large group. We enjoyed skiing and snowboarding and appreciated that the hotel had its own ski slope and equipment rental available. the onsen was relaxing and well-maintained. We also appreciated the hotel's shuttle bus, which took us to nearby tourist spots.

The hotel's WiFi connectivity was weak and sporadic, which made it difficult to stay connected with loved ones back home during the holiday season. the hotel's dining options were somewhat limited and pricey.

We felt like royalty at Hotel Kazurabashi! The staff made us feel very special and the traditional tatami-style room was spacious and comfortable. The outdoor Onsen with its scenic views was a highlight, and the food, including the Kaiseki dinner, was delicious. it was a beautiful and authentic Japanese experience.
