This hotel ticks off all the boxes for a perfect ski getaway. The location is simply unbeatable - right in the center of the mountain, offering breathtaking views of Echigo-Yuzawa town surrounded by majestic mountains. The rooms, although compact, are well-equipped with all the amenities one would need, including comfortable beds and a small bathroom in the traditional Japanese style. And let's not forget the fantastic breakfast with a view that will leave you speechless!

All was spot on, no complaints whatsoever.

The hotel offered a great location to enjoy skiing during our Christmas vacation. the staff was helpful, and the views of the snow mountains from the outdoor hot spring were stunning. the rooms were cozy and comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was tasty with both local and western options.

The noise level was high due to children running and shouting in the hallways. the Italian restaurant nearby was good, but we wished there were more options within walking distance.

Our stay at Sierra Resort was amazing, worth every penny! The resort itself was beyond our expectations, with beautiful and cozy facilities. The outdoor onsen was a highlight, allowing us to relax while enjoying the stunning snowy mountain views. The staff was very helpful and the service was great. We would definitely recommend this resort for anyone visiting Japan.
