I really got my money's worth at Smile Hotel in Kyoto. The room was comfortable and had everything I needed, like a fridge and ample surface space. The location was excellent, with lots of attractions, food options, and easy access to transportation. The staff were friendly and provided great service.

The only thing that could have been better was the breakfast menu. It lacked a good selection of western food.

We recently went on a romantic getaway and the hotel we stayed at exceeded our expectations. the complementary ice making machine on our floor was a great touch and we loved the fact that the laundry facilities had wash powder included. the location was also perfect, as we were able to visit all the main attractions and eating options nearby were abundant. Plus, the staff were incredibly friendly.

The pillows were too small for the size of the bed, which made it a bit uncomfortable. we found the curtains to be exceptionally dusty, which was a bit off-putting.
