The room was spacious and elegant, with a stunning view of the garden. The private facilities were top-notch, including a shower and deep bath. The staff were friendly and accommodating, providing excellent service throughout my stay.

The limited access to the onsen, as it was only open in the afternoons.

The morning meditation in the main temple can be cold, so it's advisable to dress warmly.

I had a wonderful stay at this centrally located accommodation. Sojiin truly impressed me with their beautiful garden, delicious meals, and helpful staff. the food, in particular, was amazing. It was beautifully presented and the best vegan meals I've ever had. the setting of the hotel was lovely, with antique furniture and beautiful screens in the reception rooms. the staff, despite limited English, were always ready to assist. the location was excellent, making it easy to explore the major temples in the area. I also enjoyed the Japanese baths provided by the hotel.

The entrance and garden at Sojiin created a truly stunning atmosphere. I was captivated by the tranquility and beauty of the surroundings. The service and food during dinner and breakfast were absolutely exquisite, leaving me completely satisfied. The bath area was also a highlight, providing a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. The central location of Sojiin made it convenient for exploring everything in the area. I was particularly grateful that the hotel accommodated guests with tattoos, allowing me to fully enjoy my stay.

We had a wonderful experience at a temple in Koyasan. the food at Sojin was absolutely amazing, with a variety of delicious vegan dishes. the location was great, and our room was clean and comfortable. the highlight was the dinner, which was surprisingly good and provided a truly unique experience. the staff were also very welcoming and helpful.

The location was perfect with amazing views of the surrounding area. We were welcomed with a plate of delicious cookies and a complementary drink upon arrival. the complimentary shuttle service to nearby attractions was a great benefit.

The shared bathroom was not adequately cleaned and there were no towels available. the breakfast was very disappointing, as there was little variety and the food was not fresh.

Authentic Zen monastery with beautiful buildings. Tasty vegetarian cuisine surprise by its flavor and portion size. Traditional Japanese yukata provided in the room. Opportunity to attend morning prayer with monks adds cultural experience. Staff incredibly kind and attentive, making the overall stay enjoyable.

Staying at this unique Buddhist temple in the heart of Koyasan was a highlight of our trip. the experience was truly memorable, with morning prayers and delicious vegetarian meals. the monks provided excellent service, bringing multiple courses to our room for dinner and setting up futons for us at night. the public baths were a relaxing and private experience, and the location was convenient for sightseeing in the area.
