The location of the hotel is excellent, as it is right in front of Ofuna train station and very close to a large shopping mall with a huge electronics store. It is also very near the train station, making it convenient for sightseeing in the area. The rooms are cozy and well-equipped, with amenities such as kimonos, slippers, a fridge, and tea/coffee facilities. The staff are extremely helpful and courteous.

The bathroom had a slight stench, possibly due to stagnant water in some areas.

During my Christmas stay, I appreciated the cleanliness of the room and the fact that it had a cozy ambiance. the hotel's proximity to various restaurants and shops was also a plus point. the staff was friendly and helpful beyond their duties.

The room was smaller than I expected and there was no room service available during the holidays. the room was somewhat noisy, and it was challenging to get a good night's rest.

This hotel is a gem! Located right in front of Ofuna train station, it offers easy access to all of Japan, making it the perfect base for exploring. One of the highlights is the huge balcony with a table and chairs, providing a serene spot to enjoy a cup of tea. The attention to detail is evident, with fully equipped rooms that include kimonos, slippers, a fridge, tea and coffee facilities. The availability of non-smoking rooms and a welcome bag for ladies is a nice touch. Plus, there is a coffee shop next to the hotel that serves the best coffee in Japan!

All in all, this hotel was practically perfect.

Convenient location close to Ofuna station, with easy access to Narita and Haneda airports. Clean, well-maintained room for two people, with a refreshing beach vibe. Reasonable price compared to other accommodations in the area. Friendly and accommodating staff. Easily accessible monorail for visiting nearby Enoshima.

Convenient and clean but tiny rooms

My husband and I recently stayed at a hotel in Kamakura and we were pleasantly surprised by the convenience and cleanliness of the rooms. Yes, they were small, but we didn't mind because everything was so well-maintained. The location was perfect, right at the terminus of one of the NEX trains and a short walk from the station. This made it easy for us to explore Kamakura and other nearby areas. The hotel also had a continental breakfast, although the options were limited, it was still a nice way to start the day. Considering the price we paid, it was definitely a bargain. we had a great stay at Sotetsu Fresa Inn Kamakura-Ofuna and I would recommend it to others.
