I recently had the pleasure of staying at a wonderful guesthouse in Nikko. Stay Nikko Guesthouse exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the hosts greeted me with warmth and kindness. They provided me with a detailed map of the area, pointing out the best places to visit, eat, and shop. My room, a traditional Japanese style room on the ground floor, offered a beautiful view of the garden. the futons and bedding were incredibly comfortable, and I slept peacefully every night. the entire guesthouse was tastefully decorated, creating a relaxing atmosphere. the presence of light jazz music added to the ambiance. the common room, located next to my room, showcased the same lovely garden view. the entire place was spotlessly clean. the hosts went above and beyond, even giving me a ride back to the train station as I had multiple bags. I didn't want to leave and would have loved to stay longer. I highly recommend Stay Nikko Guesthouse to anyone planning a visit to the area.

the owners of the guesthouse, Moon Villa, were incredibly helpful and provided us with all the information we needed during our stay. the facility itself was excellent and perfect for my family. We enjoyed the comfortable and cozy tatami rooms, complete with warm and fluffy beds. the owners, who spoke Japanese, Thai, and English, went above and beyond to assist us with choosing activities and recommending places to visit. They even drove us and our luggage back to the train station when we left. the homemade Japanese breakfast they served was delicious and reasonably priced. our experience at this guesthouse was amazing, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Nikko area.

The rooms are Japanese-style with tatami mats and sliding doors, providing an authentic experience. The breakfasts are delicious and filling, with tasty home-cooked meals served beautifully. the hosts are warm and friendly, ensuring that guests have everything they need.

The facilities, given the price, are not the greatest. However, the innkeepers make up for it with their graciousness and efforts to make the presentable with what they have on hand.

We had a wonderful stay at a lovely little house just a short walk from the main road. The owner was amazing, always available and willing to help with anything we needed, day or night. The Japanese-style house and beds added to the charm, although it was a bit chilly in late December as the house didn't have heating. Despite that, everything else was perfect. The location was convenient, the rooms and common areas were clean, and the cat designs around the house were adorable. We also loved the interesting wall in the bathroom with articles and advice about Japan. If you're planning to travel to Nikko, I highly recommend this place.

Additionally, the small hot bath was fantastic and perfect for relaxing after a long day of walking. The futons were incredibly comfortable, and we slept well all night. Lastly, the breakfast provided was absolutely delicious, and the staff offered outstanding hospitality, even driving us to the train station and providing important tips for our visit to this city.

It exceeded all our expectations and provided us with an unforgettable experience.
