Super clean place, faultless bathroom and kitchen. Small room but enough space for luggage and clothes line. Convenient washing machine. Close to train station and bus stop. Nice size room, comfy beds, very clean. Easy transportation by bus or subway. Helpful staff, accommodating with luggage. Comfy and spacious beds.

Nothing to dislike.

The hotel is conveniently located, being pretty close to the main station and close to a metro station. It is also near to a popular shopping street, making it easy to find things to do and places to eat. The rooms are comfortable, with firm mattresses and nice blankets. There is even a washing machine in the apartment, which is a big plus for families.

The check-in process can be a bit confusing and limited, as the reception desk only opens at certain times.

This hotel has exceeded my expectations in many ways. First of all, the location is fantastic. It's just a short walk from the metro station and also close to the main station, making it super convenient for exploring the city. The staff here are amazing, always ready to assist and went above and beyond to help me when I left my iPad in the room. They immediately arranged for it to be sent to my next hotel in Tokyo, which was truly impressive. The rooms are spacious, especially for Japan, and I loved having a kitchenette with a washing machine. It made my stay feel like a home away from home. I was very impressed with the attention to detail, the basic amenities provided, and the excellent service provided by the staff.

Stay Sakura Shijo Karasuma provided a wonderful stay for us in Kyoto. The location was perfect, with easy access to trains and buses within a short walking distance. The neighborhood was quiet and non-touristy, yet just a 12-minute walk to the bustling Shijo-Karasuma intersection with its department stores, restaurants, and shops. The room itself was clean and tidy, with a small kitchen that was great for light cooking and reheating food. The bathroom was surprisingly spacious and had excellent water pressure and ventilation. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we appreciated the non-smoking policy throughout the building. our stay was comfortable and enjoyable.

The helpful staff, especially those at the Guest Centre, were always willing to assist and provided valuable recommendations for sightseeing and dining. The free bus service from the guest centre to the hotel upon check-in was a convenient touch. I also appreciated the option to leave my luggage at the Guest Centre. I had a fantastic stay at Stay Sakura Kyoto Shijo Karasuma and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kyoto.

Our New Year stay at the hotel was great! We loved the amenities offered like the kitchenette and the tub in the bathroom. the location of the hotel was excellent, close to great restaurants and a 24/7 supermarket. We also got to experience friendly staff who spoke English and made great recommendations for local sights.

The check-in process was a bit confusing as we had to go to a different location to check-in. We also found it a bit difficult to understand what amenities were charged as there was no clear information about this.

As a business traveler, I really enjoyed the convenient location of Stay Sakura. The hotel is situated in the heart of the city, close to central shops and restaurants. It's also just a 10-minute walk from Tambaguchi Station, making it easy to access transportation options. The bus stop right in front of the hotel was a great perk, allowing me to easily travel around the city. The staff at the Guest Centre were extremely friendly and helpful, providing recommendations for temples and restaurants in fluent English. The free bus service from the guest centre to the hotel was a convenient way to check-in, and I appreciated the option to leave my luggage there for free. The room itself was clean, well-equipped, and had all the necessary amenities, including a kitchenette area and a washing machine. I would highly recommend Stay Sakura for business travelers and would definitely stay here again if I visit Kyoto in the future.
