the location was ideal, being close to the JR station, tourist office, bus station, and within walking distance to temples. the staff spoke English fluently and were incredibly helpful and courteous. the hotel offered free breakfast, which included both Japanese and Western options, and the onsen was a wonderful experience. We also appreciated the environmentally friendly practices of the hotel, such as the option to trade in unused toothbrushes for treats and the overall focus on sustainability. being able to choose our own pillow for optimal comfort was a pleasant surprise.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like. 👍

The room was a bit small, but it was still well, designed and comparable to budget hotels in Europe. the glazed glass window let in little light and there were no curtains, which may not be ideal for those who prefer natural light.

I recently stayed at Super Hotel in Nara for a few nights while exploring the city. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and spoke English, which made my stay even more enjoyable. I loved the convenience of the Japanese hot bath and the coin-operated washing machines, which saved me money on laundry. The location of the hotel, attached to the JR Station, made it easy to travel around Nara without needing a taxi. The room may have been compact, but it was spotlessly clean and had amazing pillows that provided a massage-like experience. The breakfast pastries were delicious and the staff kindly waited for us to check-in due to our late flight. the hotel was well-organized, functional, and offered great amenities.
