Marvelous location. the air con kicked in as I entered the room, just like a welcoming hug from an old friend. the room was so beautifully decorated, it felt like staying in a 5-star hotel. the view from my window was like a painting come to life.

Limited breakfast options.

The staff made the tots giggle and the Family Game Room was a hit for our clan. the Family Rodeo Adventure was a hoot for all ages!

My wife says that the Babysitting Service would be a helpful addition.

The quadruple room felt cozy with a nice seating area, offering stunning mountain views. the air conditioning kept us comfortable, and the ensuite bathroom was convenient. Perfect for a relaxing stay post-skiing!

The lack of soundproofing between rooms was a bit bothersome.

My recent stay at this hotel was truly wonderful. the staff was super friendly and always helpful. the breakfast served with fresh tasty bread was amazing. the location in the centre of the village was perfect, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and the ski slopes. the dry room for storing ski equipment was convenient, and the WiFi was excellent for me to work remotely. the dinner at the restaurant was delicious, and the bar with the excellent dart board provided a fun evening activity. I had an amazing time and extended my stay because of how delightful my experience was.

If I had to point out a couple of things that could be improved, it would be the slightly cramped bathroom, which reminded me of a motor home setup. the walk from the entryways to the rooms involved steep stairs and long hallways, which might be challenging for some guests.

Located centrally near the Hikage gondola and main street, enabling easy access to town attractions. the spacious rooms offer a cozy ambiance with fire heaters and beanbags for relaxation. the staff are accommodating and friendly, providing a tasty breakfast selection. the nearby onsens provide a truly authentic Japanese experience.

Some rooms may take time to warm up upon arrival.

The stay at Tanuki Nozawa was fantastic. the staff was friendly, the breakfast amazing, and the location perfect for easy access to ski slopes and dining spots. the dry room for ski gear was a bonus. We enjoyed the burger at the restaurant and the dartboard in the basement bar.

Cozy and Convenient Stay in Nozawaonsen

The spacious rooms, central location near Oyu Onsen, and the lovely atmosphere provided the perfect base for our off-season mountain adventures. We especially appreciated the included breakfast at the cafe and the delightful sushi restaurant within the premises, which made our stay memorable.

Staff helped me with sim cards on my first stay. Everything I need here: Free Wi-Fi, Bar, Restaurant, Ski equipment hire. Peaceful with no pets or smoking. Coming back for holiday, they have it all here.

We hit up the sushi joint and cafe for killer bites. the onsen up the hill was epic and the ski fields were a total blast. the rooms were cozy, and the staff rocked!

More late-night hangout spots would take the chill sesh to the next level.
