The guest house has communal bathrooms and loos but they are never crowded. The kitchen for guests is excellent and there is a lounge/bar area. The location is great for exploring Hakone and the staff is helpful. The Hakone Open Air Museum is right next door.

I had an amazing experience at this traditional yet modern guest house. The staff were incredibly friendly and the hospitality was remarkable. The shared kitchen was a great addition, especially for travelers with children. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and spacious, providing a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, and it was nice to meet and interact with other travelers at the guest house. a reasonably priced accommodation that I would highly recommend.

As a business traveler, I appreciated the central cooking hearth for daily group dinners, perfect for networking and socializing. The busy bar open until midnight was a great place to unwind after a long day. The traditional mats in our family room added a unique touch and gave us a taste of the local culture. I recently stayed at an amazing guesthouse in Hakone for a few nights. It had a unique, woody concept and my room felt like a cozy treehouse. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The surrounding scenery was breathtaking and there were plenty of delicious food options nearby. One of the highlights was the irori dinner, where we grilled vegetables, sausages, and fish on a sunken hearth. It was a fun and delicious experience that I highly recommend.

The location is perfect, just a 5-minute walk from Chokokunomori station and right next to the Hakone open-air museum. The free coffee and tea were a nice touch and the coin laundry was convenient. There are also some fantastic onsens nearby. a fantastic stay!

As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the open pit/social area for shared meals. The kitchen was also great for those who preferred a quieter dining experience. The room, although small, was functional and clean. The staff allowed us to store our luggage after checkout, which was very convenient. The whiskey selection at the bar was a nice touch.

The room was spacious and comfortable, and even though it was not completely private, it was still satisfactory. The shower was excellent, and all amenities, including a hair dryer, were provided. The hotel also had a shared guest kitchen, laundry facilities, and a bar. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was perfect, right next to the must-see open-air museum. It was also conveniently located near a convenience store and bus stop, and within walking distance of a cable car station and Gora station, making it easy to explore the city.

The location was perfect, with a bus stop right in front of the property and another one up the road that goes to Odawara station. The surroundings in this part of Hakone were beautiful and peaceful. it was a perfect dinner for meeting new people and enjoying the authentic ryokan interior.
