This hotel is a gem! The location is unbeatable, within walking distance of the famous Kiyomizu temple and right next to the charming old neighborhoods below it. The rooms are cozy and well-equipped with all the basic amenities you need. Plus, the rooftop terrace offers stunning views and a convenient laundry facility. Truly a value for money experience!

The staff was very friendly, which made our stay pleasant. We were also delighted that the hotel had a rooftop terrace that offered stunning views at dusk. we appreciated the hotel's outdoor smoking area rather than being confined to a tiny, windowless room. the hotel's location was also a plus. We could see people heading to a famous temple while knowing that it was only a short walk away from the hotel.

The hotel rooms appeared larger in photos than in reality, which was a bit disappointing. Our medium-sized suitcase took up the majority of our room floor space, and the bathroom had limited space.

Great location near Kiyomizu-dera and Gion. Modern, clean rooms with a nice rooftop terrace. Friendly and helpful staff. Free coffee machine in the reception area. Wonderful street views from the kitchen area.

Our three-night stay at Terrace Kiyomizu was amazing! The staff was incredibly helpful, assisting us with every little thing. The hotel's location is perfect, just a 4-minute walk to the breathtaking Kiyomizu-dera Temple. We also loved exploring the charming streets of old Kyoto, filled with food shops and souvenir stores, just a short 3-minute walk away. The quiet atmosphere at night allowed for a peaceful sleep, and we enjoyed the hotel's rooftop terrace and laundry facilities. we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend Terrace Kiyomizu.

While the room was slightly small, it was still comfortable enough for our needs. Also, the bed was quite firm, which may not suit everyone's preference.
