The rooms are clean and well-maintained, with the bathroom being a definite highlight. I was pleasantly surprised to find extra USB ports available, making it convenient to charge multiple devices. The hotel's location is superb, with a bakery just down the corner offering delicious pastries for a morning treat. Additionally, it is conveniently close to a bus stop, providing easy access to Kyoto main station, and also within walking distance to the river.

They made sure to provide a warm welcome and even offered a delicious tea upon arrival. the location of the hotel was perfect, situated in the historic district with easy access to shrines, temples, and great restaurants. Additionally, the hotel had a modern and boutique-style atmosphere, with comfortable rooms and beds.

The only downside was that the room temperature was a bit too hot at night. the air conditioning unit was a bit noisy, so I had to open the window which unfortunately resulted in a few mosquito bites.

Great value for money, the room was comfortable and clean. The location was perfect for exploring historic Kyoto, with Gion and Kiyomizudera Temple within walking distance. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to help us locate a lost item.

Tabist Kiyomizu Gion Kyoto is located in a good area away from the madness of central Gion but close to all the central temples. The hotel offers a comfortable room with a private bath and more than adequate facilities. The staff is friendly and welcoming, offering delicious tea on arrival. The location provides easy access to restaurants and is near everything in town.

They were able to provide us with information about the city and even helped us organize a traditional Japanese dinner, which turned out to be one of the best experiences we had in Japan. Additionally, the location of the hotel was perfect. It was situated in a charming neighborhood that had a great ambiance, and it was within walking distance of many temples, shrines, and shops.

One of the downsides of our stay was the size of the rooms. They were quite small and felt a bit cramped, especially for taller individuals.
