During my business trip, I stayed at a modern hotel in an urban neighborhood near the river. The minimalist style of the hotel impressed me a lot, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They arranged my dinner reservations and taxis, which simplified my trip. One of the best aspects of the hotel was the comfortable bed, and the Japanese breakfast was very good as well. Also, the onsen-style bath in my suite was an advantage that I enjoyed very much.

Although I enjoyed my stay overall, there were some negative aspects. The breakfast provided was Japanese-style, and even though it was great, it was too big and heavy for three consecutive days during my stay. It would have been better if the hotel had offered some lighter options. Also, my suite on the first floor was the largest in the hotel but was a bit tight for a family of 5. Additionally, the location, although with good access to a train line, was not particularly idyllic. Lastly, there was a surprise dripping leak from the ceiling of my room that disturbed my sleep one night, and the staff seemed surprised despite it being a known issue.

We absolutely loved our stay at this place. The Japanese-style design is impeccable and the cleanliness is top-notch. The private bath tub in the room allowed us to enjoy a relaxing onsen experience right in our own space. We were delighted to find a set of skincare products and Kyoto tea and coffee bags provided in the room, adding an extra touch of luxury to our stay.
