We had a wonderful stay at Toyoko Inn in Hakodate. The location was perfect, just a short walk from JR Hakodate and the morning market. The hotel provided everything we needed, including free wifi and delicious breakfast and dinner options. The separate air-con system in the room was a big plus, allowing us to easily adjust the temperature. I highly recommend this hotel for its great location, amenities, and value for money.

The area around the hotel is perfect for sightseeing, with many local attractions within reach.

One downside is that there is no luggage storage room in the hotel. Guests are only offered the option to deposit their luggage in a corner of the lobby after check-out.

Great Value and Convenient Location

The hotel is a great pick for those who travel on a budget. It had some great features such as an electric kettle and humidifier in the room and a simple but filling Japanese-style breakfast offered free to guests. , the location was highly convenient as it was near the train station and right next to the morning market where you can find fresh seafood.

The rooms were not comfortable as they were too small and cramped, barely giving enough space to move around. the bed was too hard, making it difficult to sleep well at night.
