The location of this hotel was perfect for our New Year's vacation. We enjoyed walking around the traditional tea ceremony streets and exploring the beautiful neighborhood. the staff was very friendly and helpful, offering us useful information about the attractions nearby. We especially enjoyed the smell of the Japanese cedar in our room and the opportunity to experience a traditional tatami mat room. the addition of the free washing machine inside the spacious room was a nice touch.

Although the room was spacious, the heater was too warm at night, making it difficult to sleep. We tried to turn it off, but it still felt too hot.

My stay at Utaimachi was absolutely magical. The location was ideal, right in the heart of the charming Higashi Chaya district. Exploring the shops and restaurants nearby was a delight. The room itself was beautifully designed, with a comfortable king-size bed and traditional futons. I loved the tatami mat flooring and the peaceful atmosphere. The highlight was the breakfast, which was delicious and just the right amount. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. I highly recommend Utaimachi for a truly memorable experience.

The location was perfect for exploring the historical area and attractions nearby. It was within walking distance to the castle, Omicho Market, and museums. Additionally, the room had a high-quality finish, especially the bathroom facilities. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, providing excellent service and answering all our questions. The hotel offered free washing machine in the room, which was a convenient and appreciated bonus.

There was no compensation or alternative solution when the washing machine in our room was broken, which was a disappointment.
