The staff at Wafu No Yado Masuya went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. They were attentive and always ready to assist us with any queries or needs. We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious traditional Japanese meals served for breakfast and dinner. The room, with its traditional Japanese interior, offered a stunning view of the river. The hotel also provided a free shuttle service to the train station and the snow monkey park, making our sightseeing adventures much more convenient. our stay at Wafu No Yado Masuya was fantastic, and I highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel truly surpassed our expectations. The attention to detail in every aspect was impressive. From the beautifully decorated rooms with their lovely private baths to the exceptional service provided by the staff, our stay was nothing short of perfect. The rolling hills surrounding the hotel created a breathtaking backdrop, making us feel like we were in a serene countryside retreat. And the included breakfast, which showcased the delicious traditional Japanese cuisine, was the perfect way to start each day.

The food was delicious and we had plenty to eat. They provided a free shuttle service to the local attraction which was very convenient. the staff were friendly and helpful.

The room was a bit small for our liking and the water pressure in the shower was not strong enough. it was an okay stay but not worth the price we paid.

It offers a tranquil retreat for nature lovers, with endless streams of naturally flowing water from two of the towns nine hot springs. The staff is incredibly friendly and goes above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, with luxurious amenities in the bathroom. The delicious traditional Japanese breakfast served in a private room is a delightful way to start the day. Additionally, the hotel provides easy access to Yudanaka station and the slopes of Shiga Kogen.

Lovely ryokan with spacious rooms and comfortable futons. Wonderful private onsens, both indoor and outdoor. Exceptional service and hospitality from the family-owned staff. Delicious meals included in the room rate. Great value for a traditional ryokan experience.
