I recently stayed at a charming Japanese-style hotel in a great area. The location was perfect, as it was very close to many beautiful temples. The room was spacious and had a lovely view of a Japanese-style botanical garden. The staff provided excellent service and were incredibly friendly. Additionally, the breakfast provided was delicious and there were even options to dress up in traditional kimono and take pictures. It was a truly authentic Japanese experience.

The bathroom was a bit basic and had a small plastic mold.

The hotel is located in one of the most touristic areas of the city, just off the main touristic area, making it a convenient base for exploring the popular temples nearby. Being in such a prime location allows for easy access to the sights, without the hustle and bustle right outside the hotel's doorstep.

During my recent Easter break, I had a wonderful Japanese experience. the hosts were incredibly friendly and hospitable, offering me extras like fruits, desserts, and even an evening meal. the location was perfect, situated in a quiet and charming lane near a stunning temple. One more advantage was a warm and beautiful room with cozy futons and all the necessary traveler amenities.

Getting to the location from the nearest station was slightly tricky, necessitating a 20-minute bus ride. I regretted not opting for the breakfast, which meant I had to look elsewhere for sustenance in the morning.

We had a most pleasant and restful stay at a mini ryokan in Kyoto. The accommodation space was large and beautifully decorated with antique furniture and an inviting entrance through a mini garden. The traditional Japanese room was comfortable, with thick futon and duvet. The breakfast, although simple, was tasty and filling. The location was exceptional, situated near streets that led to the beautiful Higashiyama area. We were able to explore Higashiyama at any time of day and return to rest whenever we pleased. The owner was friendly and English-speaking, making our stay even more enjoyable. we highly recommend this mini ryokan for a private and peaceful experience in Kyoto.
