My stay at Ryokan Yamashiroya was absolutely delightful. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality. The traditional ryokan atmosphere was so charming and cozy, making me feel right at home. The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the incredible dinner they served in-room - the traditional Japanese dishes were absolutely delicious. On top of that, the owners went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable, even offering to send me to the bus station with my luggage. I had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this ryokan.

I had such an amazing stay at this hotel in a small village. The location was so charming, with cobbled roads that felt like a glimpse into the days of the samurai. The staff were incredibly attentive and the service was top-notch. The rooms were beautifully designed in a traditional Japanese style, with comfortable futon beds that provided a truly authentic experience. And let's not forget about the breakfast. it was absolutely delicious and a perfect way to start the day.

The mountains surrounding the location are breathtaking and make for some unique photo opportunities. the dinner and breakfast offered were top-notch and definitely worth experiencing. One of the most enjoyable aspects of the stay was having a private onsen to use.

The hotel is located in a very remote area, and it can be quite difficult to find. the passageway leading to the guest rooms is dangerously narrow and has a step that is easy to miss.
