I had an incredible stay at this luxurious hotel. The location was perfect, as it was situated near Matsuyama Castle in the nearby park, offering a breathtaking panoramic view of the area. Additionally, being so close to the main attraction, Dogo Onsen, was a major convenience. The hotel staff was exceptional, providing top-notch service and ensuring all of my needs were met. The room amenities were outstanding, including heating, air conditioning, and an in-room safe. The free Wi-Fi was a great feature, allowing me to stay connected throughout my stay. The dining options were superb, with a restaurant and bar/lounge area offering a variety of delectable dishes and drinks. I also enjoyed the leisure activities available, such as massages and karaoke, as well as the relaxing hot spring and open-air bath facilities. this place exceeded my expectations in every way.

This traditional hotel offers a neat and clean room with comfortable beds and even a massage chair for relaxation. Located very close to the main attraction, it provides easy access to the nearby Dogo Onsen and the Dogo shopping street. The staff is friendly and attentive, providing tea and snacks in the late afternoon. The breakfast is delicious with a choice of Japanese or Western menus. The hotel also offers amenities like yukata rental and a footbath cafe for a complete Japanese experience.

The elevators can be a bit slow, sometimes resulting in a short wait.

Our stay at Yamatoya Honten was absolutely delightful. The location near Dogo Onsen made it so convenient for us to enjoy the famous hot springs. The staff were incredibly helpful and made sure we felt welcome during our entire stay. The amenities, like the massage chair in our room, added an extra touch of luxury and relaxation. The breakfast, filled with delicious Ehime specialties, was a definite highlight. I highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful stay in Matsuyama.

The hotel was located in a convenient area close to a popular attraction and shopping area. the staff were friendly and accommodating to our needs. One of the best things about the hotel was the relaxing onsen, which offered indoor and outdoor pools surrounded by trees and a garden. the breakfast offered was also tasty and filling, with a variety of Japanese dishes offered. the hotel offered cultural experiences, such as a Noh theater and footbath cafe, adding to the overall experience.

The elevators were slow and outdated, which sometimes made it difficult to get to and from our room in a timely manner. the room was a bit small, but this is to be expected in many Japanese-style hotels.
